Look at me! Look at me!

I had been trying to decide for some time now, if it would be okay to post some pictures of myself on my lil' blog.
Initially, I suspected it might be slightly vainglorious of me...but as my dear friend Spider pointed out...it IS my blog!

Besides, I thought it might be nice for people to put a 'face to a blog'.

I'm particulary fond of that blurry, unfocused picture of me at the top there...I suspect it's the best one yet!

(Nonetheless, it still seems very strange to me. Posting ones own image for the world to view. I feel both exposed, and oddly okay with it.)

That's just how I felt. It's kind of like you know everyone's more taken aback than you.

Tai, you're so beautiful! I struggled with the same question before posting my own picture in my last post (the first time I had appeared as well.) However, being a desperately visual person, I love having the face to go with the blog/name.

Oh, please do 'expose' yourself in such a manner. I already knew what you looked like -- which is a very pleasing to the eye thing. And, anyway, what on earth is wrong with vainglory? We should love what we look like. So, thank you, Tai, for posting the photos. As for the pics, I vote for #2. The first is the more interesting, but you have to decide what message you want to convey. Actually, either #1 or #2. Thank you for making the offering. Ian

Hey Tai!

You are quite lovely. I'm glad you felt that you could post the pix.

I will be back to read some of the entries that I missed...

Take care out there!

Your Pal,

Zambo.

The only reason not to is if you need total anominity. I found it an impossible feat and then my grand-daughter did it for me.

awww.. I like them. You are very pretty.

I get spooked about putting pics up. It took me forever just to put the wierd one on my profile up. I like anonymity I guess.

Yay!! I love it when an anonymous blogger that I read faithfully decides to "reveal" themselves. I like to put a face with a blog. So thank you. Great pics!

I found a comment from you from a posts back and thought to myself,"Hello; who's this?" in my best Brittish voice in my head. Anyway.

Well, you're just as cute as a button! You know, I've yet to post a true image of myself, just some warped photoshop ones. I don't know, it's kind of scary. But lately I've given it some more thought, I mean no pervs have really lurked around my blog, maybe that's for it's lack of sex appeal.
You've inspired me. I'm going to Glamour Shots!!!

Great blog.

I've yet to find the courage to post a picture of myself on my blog. Not because of self-esteem or anything, but mostly because I would be giving up a sort of anonymity.
Congrats on posting your pic!!!

Don't clutter my Internet with your non-nekkid photos. If you're going to post images, do it right. FYI - I prefer girl-girl action in little Asian schoolgirl uniforms.

So nice and cheerful to see REAL pics of a real person :-) Great post Tai!

Well, this isn't a surprise for me as much as it is others, but then, I've known you a while.

But, as usual, I beg to differ:

The so-called 'blurry' one isn't blurry at all... it is a mood-lit, candle effect that lends an aura of mystery and an atmosphere of elegance to the self-portrait.

'blurry' ha!

I saw pictures of you on Spider's blog, so you were already "exposed" ;-), but these pictures are more intense. I think many bloggers are concerned with privacy issues, but oh well, it's no big deal to me and I have nothing to hide.

I am not shy at all. I have my pic everywhere on my blog! I do have to admit I get a little uneasy sometimes when I get complimented. I am not looking to get noticed, but it sometimes feels that way when I do. Did that make sense?

I am glad you posted yours. It's not vein at all! It's nice for us readers to see the face behind the wonderful and creative writings :)

You are beautiful!!

Vaaa Vaaa Voom!

Don't worry, they are great pictures. Hopefully no one will start stalking you! Don't you hate when that happens? ; )

Since you like blurry pictures, perhaps you will like my photographs, in which i try to capture the spirit of movement in a single frame.
In this gallery for example, the ghost hand adds a decidely male element to this image.
