It looks like I'm well on my way to my 10,000th visitor! *
In fact, only 50 more visits will take me over the edge.
(Hey, I can hear you laughing! Stop that!)
I do realize that some people get that many visits in a single day, but frankly?
I'm still happy.
So thanks to all you brilliant, articulate, funny and charming visitors to my dear little blog.
Thanks to all of you willing to translate my 'unique' spelling and unusual use of the much-abused apostrophe into something other than sheer doggerel.
And heck, thanks for all your witty comments. Those are the best part of this whole blog!
*Sadly, it's highly likely that six thousand and sixty four of those vistors are ME repeat-visiting my own blog.
But that's a tale for another time.

Here's another!!!
I spend a lot of time visiting my own as well, but nothin' says validation quite like watchin' that counter spin.
I'm not even close ... sigh. At least I have my loyal readers and commenters. Doesn't it just make your day to see that someone has taken the time to post. I LOVE it!
i haven't yet figured out how to tell my total visitors... so i happily delude myself into thinking i have brazillions of visitors a day ;-)
Hey, I love my counter. Like you, I think most of them are me but it still makes me happy. Congratulations on so close! Cheers when you get there. And as for being excited about it, I'm psyched I'm nearing 1000 since I put in my counter. I'll be over the moon when I get where you are!
Hey Tai, I'm responsible for much of your site meter count myself, you know. :)
By the way, you can set it so it won't show your own visits.
Blogging is apparently catching. My brother now has a blog called Toasters of the Gods.

Where can we see the visitor count? I want to repeatedly visit until I get to be the 10,000th! Will I win a prize?
Witty comment #11.
My word verification was "ydfux" btw.
Congrats!
tada! Who loves ya BABY?
We do!
If you have Sitemeter, I believe there is a way to make it ignore your IP address (although this only works if your IP address doesn't change every time you connect to the internet). I'm addicted to my visit counter too, particularly once I realized that by clicking on "referrral" I could see how people find my page. Mostly other blogs, but some of those Google searches are intriguing...
*happily adds another visit to the count*
A hits a hit. Congrats on pushing the 10,000 hit envelope.
Haahaa,I wonder that about my spot too...is it other people visiting,or just me checking?
CONGRATULATIONS!
Oh, I visit my own blog ALL the time. Congrats!
Congrats!!! I don't get anywhere near that much traffic :)
Hey you are whipping up one me.
Good for you!
