Another year in my life.

If anyone would have told me when I was 12 that I would make it to 34 I would have been astounded.
Frankly, I thought 26 was plenty old enough for anyone!

Fortunately, I remain firmly on this planet as it spins around on it's axis for yet another year of my life and I'm DAMN glad of it!

33 was a great big year; full of wonderful things and growth and sometimes hard things and sadness.

I expect nothing less of 34 now that it's here!

So. Coming along for the ride?

Hi Tai

Happy Birthday!

Fortunately, I remain firmly on this planet as it spins around on it's axis for yet another year of my life and I'm DAMN glad of it!

We're "Damn glad" you "remain firmly on this planet" as well (except of course when your flying your airplanes)...:)

Happy Birthday, Tai. I hope you had dinner somewhere nice with a good friend.

Now try to keep going for 34 more, then 34 more after that. Really, why stop now?

My 34th is later this year as well, so I guess I'll stick around for the fun.

Seems like a "happy birthday" is in order. Congrats!

It's a good thing we don't base everything in our lives on what we believed when we were twelve or thirteen!

Happy birthday to you. I was 34 when I wrote my first column in the old Green Sheet. It was a good year for me, may yours be for you too, dear Tai

Happy Birthday Tai!

I felt the same way when I turned 33... it was like, wow. Did I really make it this far? I was paranoid when I was younger that I wouldn't make 25 and yet here I am well in to my 30s.

Something crazy happening there!

I must say, being a woman in her 30s is a far cry from being in my 20s, no matter how much fun I had back in the 'day!

Definitely. Happy birthday!

When I was 10, I never thought I would be 20 and would be going to college
When I was 20, I never thought I would be 30 and would be married and have kids.
Now that I am 32, I am getting used to the fact that age, events and life will creep on you without much of a warning! So, let's enjoy this life's ride, let's see what else it brings to us!

when I was 8 my mother told me she would be surprised if I made it to 10. When I was 15 I had a cop tell me I wouldn't make it to 20-I fooled them all by reaching 40- although the 15-30 years are a little, shall we say, blurry?- congrats on making it this far with most of your sanity.
