Do you see all that space behind the little pick up truck? Yeah, there's room for him to park his car there.
But he didn't.
Instead, he opted to drive his car up on our lawns and park. When he was done conducting his business, he proceed to drive across both lawns to get back on the road.
And I was worried about getting the lawn mowed.
But you know what they say about older men driving fancy cars, don't you?
They have very small....IQ's.

I guess since he owns the property he has the right to park anywhere he pleases, but still, he was kind of being a "little prick."
OMG that's ridiculous!!!!
What the eff is that about???
He seemingly has no respect for how his tenants may be keeping the lawns!
Argh.
I'm racking my brains on this one; I've known a lot of "car show" folks that baby their cars (and often for good reason). If anything, he'd avoid the tree to avoid potential bird poo...
So, I have to go with your theory. Good call.
I've never understood why a lot of people care so much for their cars, sometimes more than they do for people. It's a chunk of metal.
Maybe they should click the links in their spam emails and increase their IQ instead of overcompensating with other stuff.
And by IQ I mean penis.
The only reason I can imagine for his behaviour is that he thinks his red car looks better offset against the green of the grass. But Occam's Razor dictates that your reason is more likely!
nails in the lawn... sometimes things like that just happen... you're out buying nails and accidently spill them all over the lawn, because the bag split open...
**it happens!
Hmmm… I suppose that goes along with the “power” of being a landlord. Either the dude doesn’t want his cute little auto hit by some wild motorist or perhaps he lacks the energy to walk from the curb.
tell stupid from an ex Master Auto mechanic that:
A) with those low profile tires and 22" rims he will
1) never stack-up
2) on a wet lawn, even just a dewy one, he will have to leave ruts to get the traction to get off of it.
3) you're still not impressed.
B) hah hahah ahaha here's ha ha ha your hahaaa hha rent now quit tearing up the shit I take care of for you.

Obviously, at his age he's trying to make up for the declining testosterone with the ballsy car. And rubbing it in...
It's sort of cute in a pathetic way.
Umm...wow. Is he marking his territory or something??
I like the nails in the lawn
idea;p I wonder what he's over-compensating for!?
My guess is he doesn't care if you mow the lawn either.
Vile and arrogant churl!
You know, I just thought....perhaps he heard about the girl (also a neighbour) who hit my car (and she also hit that little pick up in the picture) and decided to avoid any potential problems with her parking 'ability'.
But I doubt he'd be safe from her, even there.
The lawn looks a lot better than when I first saw it. It looks like someone's put some work into it. I don't think owning the property gives the guy the right to tear up the lawn. You have all sorts of rights as a tenant, he's not even supposed to knock on your door without notice. He's a nugget.
I agree with Janice. Attention getter. Nice car, stupid fellow.
Your landlord sounds like a prize. What kind of prize I'll let you decide.
What's really going to be funny is when all the brids in that tree take a dump on his car.
Funny, I thought it was something else small. Hmm? ;)
You should have trotted out in a bikini and sprawled across the hood!
I don't get it. At all.
And you were worried about the lawn? *snicker*
Hey pretty lady! I hope the eye surgery works out! I've had 20/20 my whole life but finally my left eye started to deteriorate this year. Not perfect anymore! Wanhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!
